Welcome to The Woodlands Bass Club (TWBC)!
Take a few minutes and check out our web site and see what is going on in our hometown and surrounding area. If you live nearby and love to bass fish, then this might be a great opportunity for you to consider checking membership in TWBC.
The Club works with The Woodlands Kiwanis and The Woodlands Township participating in Kid Fish Tournament events that take place at Creekwood Park in Panther Creek, The Woodlands. The first 2012 event, the 5th Annual Creekwood Fishing Derby hosted by The Woodlands Township at Creekwood Park on April 14th. The Club set up in the pavilion and weighed and measured fish for the event.
At our March 2012 meeting, we picked up a few new members...Welcome to Brian Almond and Turner and Joseph. Also new member Mike White was confrimed. Welcome guys!
April fishing was tough on Lake Livingston and also for our four members fishing the 2012 Sealy Outdoors Big Bass Splash on Lake Sam Rayburn that same weekend. Mike White found some fish on Livingston and Greg, Dustin, Neil and Joe competed with almost 3000 others on Sam Rayburn and could not find bass worthy of weighing. Next year however, they vow to have a winning strategy for the tournament.
