Welcome to The Woodlands Bass Club (TWBC)!
Take a few minutes and check out our web site and see what is going on in our hometown and surrounding area. If you live nearby and love to bass fish, then this might be a great opportunity for you to consider checking membership in TWBC.
The Club travels locally and fishes a variety of lakes. The weather presents numerous challenges with the drought and making access to the local lakes somewhat challenging. What used to be a favorite spot on your lake is now a whole "new" lake. The Club keeps safety first in mind when choosing which lakes to fish.
The Club also works with The Woodlands Kiwanis and The Woodlands Township participating in Kid Fish Tournament events that take place at Creekwood Park in Panther Creek, The Woodlands. The first 2012 event, the 5th Annual Creekwood Fishing Derby hosted by The Woodlands Township at Creekwood Park starts up on April 14th. Look for more details to follow.
The 2012 season is now underway with our January tournament on Coleto Creek in the books. It looks to be a good new year and we expect some membership growth.
In closing, our 2011 awards will be presented in February. Thanks to all for a great 2011, let's look to 2012 to be just as exciting!
TWBC will be fishing Fayette County in February as our chosen lake for the 2012 Classic Tournament. The lake is off limits to Club members until Saturday, February 18th. Tournament envelopes will be distributed on the 18th detailing your starting position and any other information needed for the day. Good Luck!
