Membership & More...
Our TWBC membership ranges from the seasoned and accomplished to the new beginner. We have members that are "boaters" (those who own boats) and "non-boaters" (those who do not own a boat). We ensure everyone fishes who has a desire to fish.
Membership in The Woodlands Bass CLub (TWBC) is open to all persons 18 years of age and older. Membership is also open to those less than 18 years old but must be sponsored by their parent / legal guardian. Generally, Club membership entails completing an application for membership, attending a Club meeting to introduce yourself and your acceptance is dependent upon a majority vote of the Club members in attendance. Dues and initial fees for the first month are $47 for a Club Hat, Shirt and your first month dues; and then monthly dues of $10 thereafter payable each month or in advance if you choose.
Club tournaments are fished on local lakes within a 200 mile radius of The Woodlands. Lakes include Sam Rayburn, Toledo Bend, Somerville, Fayette County, Bastrop, Belton, Coleto Creek, Conroe and even Lake Fork. Our Club members are laid-back, friendly and accepting of anyone who loves to bass fish as much as we do.
TWBC practices "catch and release" to preserve the sport of bass fishing.
Please explore this site to learn more or contact us for more information on becoming a member, visiting the Club or fishing as a guest.
